David L. Nakelsky, Counsel at ksi.law

One of Ontario’s most sought-after condominium lawyers — trusted by the developers behind the province’s best-known projects.

BIOGRAPHY

David is a senior member of the Real Estate Group. His practice sits on the leading edge of real estate in Canada — condominium developers, commercial owners, purchasers and sellers of every type of property, with legal work and advice for developers, landlords, builders, land entrepreneurs and construction managers.

His extensive experience in condominium law has made him one of the most sought-after condominium lawyers by developers of residential and commercial condominiums in Ontario — major developments completed in Toronto, Ottawa and Waterloo, along with recreational condominiums and chalets at Deerhurst and Horseshoe.

He also has deep experience in complicated land development projects and purchase and sale transactions of commercial and residential properties — commercial land acquisitions, joint ventures and co-ownerships, including syndication and acquisition of construction and subdivision projects — and acts for Canadian banks, trust companies and private lenders on mortgage transactions of every kind.

Called to the Ontario bar in 1972, his team pairs the most sophisticated conveyancing technology available with decades of experience — from major commercial closings to individual family homes and residential condominium units.
